Bleh the pic still looks very stiff like most of my drawings x__x. But thanks Lucia :3.

And no way you can't say that's better than what you do, I'd spank you a million times for saying such a stupid thing O_o.. I can't make such detailed pictures like yours and if you had the whole sized pic, you would see all my laziness .

For the background, as usual I cheat xD. I make a quick 3D model of the main shapes of the background and draw on it.

For the wood effect :
- I had a base color like yellow-brown (layer 1 that stays at the bottom)
- I drew almost-straight lines xD (like you make your hair you know) with a light yellow-brown and then with a dark yellow-brown (layer 2 and 3)
- I made a motion blur (I think I did lol) on the lines (layers 2 and 3)
- I shaded a bit the whole pieces of wood with a airbrush using a reddish brown and a dark yellow-brown again (layer 4, under 2 and 3)
And it makes it all .___.
I'm sorry if it wasn't clear xD..

She is so beautiful! Alana is my favorite female character of mine...or anyone's, lol.
